MILENA I.
Ukrainian-born Milena began her journey on the runways of the fashion world, walking for some of the industry’s top designers. Today, she brings that same creative energy to the streets of Los Angeles—where her true passion, art, has taken center stage.
Raised in the Soviet Union, Milena grew up in an environment where creative expression was limited. The scarcity of art supplies and the rigid, authoritarian education system left little room for artistic growth. Still, she made a quiet promise to herself: one day, in a freer and more open-minded world, she would return to art.
After a successful 12-year modeling career, Milena relocated to Los Angeles, where she began to nurture that long-held dream. In 2012, she entered a two-and-a-half-year mentorship with renowned street artist Alec Monopoly, learning street-style techniques and developing her own artistic voice. By 2014, under the name B Like Me, Milena began sharing her work not only on canvas but also on the vibrant streets of LA.
In addition to her creative pursuits, Milena is a passionate activist who uses her voice and art to raise awareness about the war in Ukraine. Deeply connected to her homeland, she advocates for peace, freedom, and support for those affected by the ongoing conflict—turning her personal history into a message of resilience and hope.
