MADHULIKA
Madhulika (ma-du-lee-ka) hails from a hilly town in India's northeast. After getting scouted in college, she made a significant mark in India’s burgeoning fashion scene before relocating overseas in 2020. Grazia hailed her as “Fashion’s Fresh Face” on their cover, while Business of Fashion (BoF) called her as “One to Watch.” Known for her exceptional presence on and off the runway, she became a muse to several Indian designers and graced the pages of Indian Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle, among others, shaping a new era of Indian personalities in fashion. She debuted at NYFW for Sies Marjan SS20. Currently honing her craft of storytelling through novel speech and acting.
From a young age, Sharma showed a passion for learning, mastering the classical piano with a Grade 8 certification from Trinity Laban. She simultaneously graduated with an honors in Political Science and Economics from Miranda House, India’s top-ranked college. Her profound understanding of International Relations and Feminism led to a prestigious role as Project Manager at Harvard during her final semester. Sharma remains dedicated to advocating for women’s rights and poverty through her involvement with her mother's grassroots initiatives in India.
With an active social media presence, Sharma has become a voice for the global South Asian community, bolstering her position as a widely recognized talent in the fashion industry. In her leisure time, Sharma enjoys practicing Ashtanga yoga, travelling, vintage shopping and volunteering.
